Measure your finger - There are several ways to do this, such as using a piece of string or fine thread. Measure your finger at the end of the day, avoiding times when the temperature is unusually hot or cold, as this can affect accuracy.
Consider hand differences - Your hands may differ slightly in size; a ring worn on a finger of the left hand may not fit the same finger on the right. Ensure the chosen size allows the ring to pass smoothly along the entire length of the finger.
Using an existing ring - If you already have a ring that fits the finger you intend to wear your new ring on, measure the inside diameter in millimetres. Then, refer to the GIA International Ring Size Chart below to find the corresponding UK ring size.
